Platinum End episode 4 review || most annoying moment in this episode ? ||
Hey guys ! welcome to my anime blog . I am here today to review the fourth episode of Platinum End titled : Time to assemble . I was eagerly waiting for this episode to see if it will be better than second and the third episode which I was disappointed of . If you want to know why I was disappointed with second and third episode click here . Now let's have a look at what the fourth episode is offering .
As the third episode was ended with Metropoliman inviting other god candidates to a stadium to have a talk and solve things which was obviously a bait . This episode started with the grand entry of Metropoliman with hundreds of audience in the stadium including the media and our protagonist Mirai . The entry itself was elegant and very well animated .
Metropoliman's entry was followed by the entry of other two god candidate dressed as Blue and Yellow Metropoliman which was intriguing to see for exploring what other god candidates are like and what is their intelligence level . I would say these two god candidates were well prepared but not fully to match our antagonist's intelligence level . Though they knew some pretty good facts about their powers .Facts like the arrow's range is 31.6 meters and the time difference between two consecutive attack is two seconds were interesting and they were revealed at the right time supporting the story line . Another fact was revealed by the Metropoliman about the time difference in two consecutive attacks of two different arrows . Let me explain ; when attacking consecutively with the same arrow either red or white the time difference is 2 sec but when attacking consecutively with different arrow red and white one after other the time difference is 0.3 sec .It was very interesting and exhilarating to see Metropoliman revealing his both arrows in his video broadcast to make the other god candidates believe that he was the real one and the other one in the stadium is a fake which was the center of his plan . As speaking of his plan , it wasn't full proof plan in my opinion because it didn't seem like everything was measured . I don't know if he would have been able to improvise if anything didn't go according to his plan . Yes , it is what I have been talking about ; the most annoying part in this episode . Saki screaming while crumbling in tears asking someone for stopping the Metropoliman self being crippled putting pressure on Mirai didn't go well with me . Hence , I was very annoyed . I know that we have very little information about what kind of person Saki is and her real intentions hasn't been revealed yet , that's why I don't blame Saki fully for making the whole scene annoying ; partly main character being swayed away by emotions is also the reason for making this scene such .Conclusion :
There is no doubt that this episode was better than the past two episodes . However , I can't say it was amazing because there were many elements that I just couldn't connect with like the emotions displayed by the character and the flow and execution of the episode just seemed half-baked . Though I enjoyed watching this episode and it might get better and better after the appearance of new characters ( other god candidates ) . You guys might not agree with me , everybody have their own opinion , so if you have anything on this particular topic comment down below .
