"The Human Crazy University" First Impression: Spoilerless review

As the Fall 2022 started new  anime are releasing and I am trying to watch each on the list which lead me this new anime called "The Human Crazy University". At first seeing the poster and the genre in which it is listed(comedy) I hastened to judge it as a gag anime and I was wrong which made me remember the quote "Don't judge a book by its cover". There was much more to it.

                                Genre: Comedy

First of all, crushing my judgemental buttocks it was totally engaging, each and every scene execution was right on point which got me totally invested. Talking about animation, it was like one of those simulation games which I found weird at first but the execution was so smooth it god rid of that weirdness.

Obviously from the name and poster itself one can speculate that it has got some science stuff. And myself being a science enthusiast it was very interesting for me gulping all those new knowledge. Although I do not confirm the scientific explanation given in this anime, I think it's pretty credible.

The other thing that surprised me was how it got me totally invested in all of its characters in this very first episode. There are very few anime which are successful to establish the connection between the characters and the viewers in the very first episode and this anime did it so effortlessly.

Though the anime is categorized in comedy genre it hardly made me chuckle. Maybe it is not of my taste. Maybe you guys will find it hilarious or maybe it is just the first episode and it will take its time.

I know it's the opposite order but I read the synopsis of this anime after finishing the episode and let me tell you honestly after reading the synopsis it got a lot more interesting than it already was. I have pasted the synopsis below if you guys want to read it. Wishing for the decent story line.

Synopsis:

"Satake Hirofumi is a prisoner on death row for murdering his fiancée. He's also an "Undeadman" who has survived many desperate situations. For this, he has earned the interest of a research institution called "Human Crazy University," which studies real-life miraculous phenomena and the people who become entangled in them. Now a subject of their research, Satake relates to them his memories of his immortal, yet unhappy, life. Why did he kill his fiancée? Soon enough, the truth sheds light on a much bigger conspiracy..."
